Woodfin Coffee Dept. is a North Asheville coffee shop and bistro, conveniently located at the intersection of Woodfin and Asheville near Beaver Lake. Yes! We are the blue building next to the Woodfin Water Department, and the creation of longtime neighborhood residents Lucy and Jared Crown, who envisioned a space that services and connects the neighborhood community and beyond.

Coffee, Pastries & Breakfast in Woodfin
We offer quality coffee, teas and a variety of breakfast options, and most of our menu is made in house.
We’ve partnered with our friends at Dynamite Coffee in Black Mountain for our house drip and espresso drinks. We also offer assorted teas, including a house-made fresh Honey Ginger Tea (Shogayu), Golden Milk, and Hot Chocolates.
Our locally crafted pastries, baked goods, cakes and pies are made by Sweet Annie’s Bakeshop. We also serve healthy breakfast classics. On the run? Pick up a grab-and-go breakfast or lunch item along with your morning coffee.

Join us for locally brewed Asheville coffee, teas, baked goods, and fresh breakfast favorites at your new Woodfin breakfast spot. Or stop in anytime for grab-and-go eats.
Of course you can get coffee and tea any time of day, but from 11am to 1pm you can also enjoy lite lunch items like paninis, salads, and sandwiches — great for dine-in or office takeout.
Where to park? We have a small parking lot, or you can park in the empty lot across the street. We also encourage walking and biking and have bike parking. Riding the bus? Find us at the Elkwood Ave / Lakeshore Dr. intersection stop along the N1 bus line.
